Job Description

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. You will be responsible for providing HR guidance to management, implementing effective HR policies and procedures driving employee engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, employee relations, and talent management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR guidance to senior management.
  • Implement effective HR policies and procedures.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations and performance management.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints.
  • Develop and deliver HR training programs.
  • Stay updated with HR best practices.

Qualifications

The idea candidate will have proven experience as an HR Advisor in a senior capacity and will be fully MCIPD qualified (Level 5) or equivalent. The successful candidate will have notable experience in employee relations and case work, performance management, capability, disciplinary hearings and absence management.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate the following attributes;

  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations and talent management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.

We are seeking a candidate with strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in teams. The individual will be highly motivated, customer-focused and skilled in data analysis for management insights.
