As part of their growth, they have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller to join the business, the role will report directly into the Managing Director. This is a standalone position within the Finance Department, and you will be a part of the senior team. Overseeing the Finance Department, reporting directly into the Director

What will you do as a Financial Controller?
- Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations / Month end journals and reporting
- Cash flow, forecasting and budgeting reports.
- Preparation of year end accounts.
- Process monthly payroll / Pension payments.
- HMRC submissions of VAT, PAYE, P11d and Corporation Tax.
- Preparation of the financial forecasts and contracts.
- Monthly management reporting of budgeting and forecasting.
- Reviewing expenditures including payroll and petty cash expenses.
What do you need as a Financial Controller?
- Proven experience in a similar position
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Sage System experience & Microsoft Excel
