As part of their growth, they have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller to join the business, the role will report directly into the Managing Director. This is a standalone position within the Finance Department, and you will be a part of the senior team. Overseeing the Finance Department, reporting directly into the Director

What will you do as a Financial Controller?

  • Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations / Month end journals and reporting
  • Cash flow, forecasting and budgeting reports.
  • Preparation of year end accounts.
  • Process monthly payroll / Pension payments.
  • HMRC submissions of VAT, PAYE, P11d and Corporation Tax.
  • Preparation of the financial forecasts and contracts.
  • Monthly management reporting of budgeting and forecasting.
  • Reviewing expenditures including payroll and petty cash expenses.

What do you need as a Financial Controller?

  • Proven experience in a similar position
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Strong leadership and people management experience
  • Sage System experience & Microsoft Excel
