Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting a large multisite services organisation with a HQ based near Lichfield looking to appoint a Management Accountant salary up to £40,000 per annum + study support.
This is a fabulous opportunity for an aspiring Accountant looking to develop their finance experience to become a well rounded Management Accountant/ Business Partner.

Management Accountant duties:
- Support to the finance team with all accounting functions within the business by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks
- Assisting in preparing budgets, maintaining reports, completing bookkeeping and accounting duties for all group companies.
- Preparing month-end files in readiness for the month-end process
- Support in the production of the management accounts for all group companies posting month end journals including fixed assets, depreciation, GRNI, accruals and prepayments
- Produce management information on daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports as required.
- Prepare financial accounts and reporting including balance sheet and control account reconciliation
- Calculate the monthly depreciation charge following the monthly asset capitalisation
- Ensure monthly capital KPI information is provided to the business VAT
