The Recruitment Co. are delighted to be hiring an Assistant Warehouse Manager for our prestigious client in the Dunkeld Area!
Location: Dunkeld area
Salary: £30,000 per annum.
Contract: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, occasional Saturday work in peak season.
**Must drive and have access to vehicle due to location**
Duties:
- Supervise warehouse workers to ensure effective task completion.
- Manage inventory and stock levels.
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments.
- Communicate with logistics teams to streamline supply chain processes.
- Monitor shipping and receiving to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse operations.
- Sorting through and managing mail orders (must have previous experience).
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of warehousing policies and practices.
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Management, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a similar role.
- Must be able to provide direction/manage a team of up to 20 people (team increase in peak season).
- Drivers Licence is required due to location.
