We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join a growing business within the education sector in Liverpool City Centre. The successful candidate will utilise their skills and experiencing in accounting to oversee the financial operations of the business and supporting with budget management.

Description

  • Manage and oversee the financial operations
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the management team
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Manage the transactional accounts and invoices
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve financial efficiency
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to academy staff

Profile

A successful Finance Officer should have:

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Current and up to date experience in transactional accounting
  • Exposure to budget management
  • VAT knowledge
