Electrician - HMP Brixton
- Salary £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
- 39 hour week
- Pension and Life Insurance
- 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
Main Duties
To provide electrical service, maintenance and reactive jobs including call-outs as required for HMP Brixton.
Person Specification
- Need strong electrical background for maintenance and strong fault-finding skills, with 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
- Relevant electrical technical qualifications - 18th edition - City and Guilds
- New small work install and test
- Clear communicator both oral and written
- Able to build relationships with both internal and external customers
- Live within a commutable distance to HMP Brixton
- Be able to pass prison service vetting
Shift Pattern
Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 17:00
Friday - 08:00 to 16:00
On call 1 week every 3 weeks - on call allowance £100 per week
Work 1 weekend every 6 weekends
