Commercial Contract & Compliance Legal Counsel

Part Time (Monday -Friday) Flexible hours - 25 hours a week

Hybrid Working - Monday & Wednesday Office (Wickford) - 3 days work from home

£45,000 - £50,000 Pro Rata

A Growing IT business are in search on an in-house Commercial Contract & Compliance Legal to join their team.

You will need a Degree or high qualification in Contract or General law, with prior experience in a Paralegal or contract management role

Responsibilities:

You will manage all aspects of commercial contract templates, updates, amendments and license obligations to their clients in the UK and overseas.

  • Reviewing and advising on commercial contracts - NDA's, supplier contracts and the company's own License & Hosting Agreements
  • Tracking and monitoring the progress and life cycle of contracts to ensure they are compliant
  • Staying up to date with the changing legislation
  • Conducting legal research across a range of topics and jurisdictions
  • Analysing and reporting on contract changes
  • Assisting colleagues with compliance with contractual obligations
  • Assist with related regulatory and corporate compliance matters
  • Update various contract
  • Ad-hoc Legal duties

Your Experience:

  • Commercial experience or experience in reviewing commercial contracts
  • Commercial awareness
