Workspace Project Coordinator (Move/Relocation Management)
Location - Remote (Frequent Travel across Northwest/West London)
Hours - Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 17:00pm
FTC until July 2025
Apleona Workspace are specialists in workplace strategy, interior design, business relocation, design & build, commercial fit out and refurbishment. We operate throughout the UK, working for a diverse range of clients within the commercial office market. We deliver office moves and relocation services to our varied client base. We also design and deliver inspirational workspaces.
We are currently looking to recruit a Project Coordinator on a Fixed Term Contract, to work within our Workspace division on delivering a high level scope of project related works for one of our clients.
In this role you will visit sites and conduct detailed surveys of existing furniture and building layouts, which will enable you to brief the space planning resource (CAD) to produce detailed and technically correct layout plans as required. You will provide risk assessments and method statements for each project, advising on health and safety issues and planning restrictions to ensure all works are conducted in accordance with current health and safety guidelines.
Working effectively with the Regional Senior Project Manager and Project Management teams you will assist with the project costing processes and technical submissions to the client. We are looking for someone to be confident in developing client relationships, as you will support the management of on-site teams and will assist in creating a project plan and the mobilisation.
As an Apleona Project Coordinator, we're looking for;
- Strong admin background
- Experience of managing move management, building decommissioning and small fit out projects
- Experience of self-delivering people and furniture moves and furniture installations both as an individual and working within a team
- Experience of managing labour to deliver projects regionally
- Ability to manage sub-contractors in order to facilitate project requirements
- Knowledge of Project Management systems and methodology and have the ability to implement these throughout the delivery process
- Ability to support a project from engagement to completion both on site and financially
- Knowledge of Furniture systems
- Strong IT skills especially in Microsoft packages
