Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm

Pay Rates - Day: £25.60 Per Hour

We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to work in the Special Schools Team at Sheffield Childrens Hospital. Sheffield Childrens NHS Foundation Trust provide integrated healthcare for children and young people, as well as community and mental health care, and acute and specialist services.

Responsibilities of this job role:

  • You will be required to provide a highly specialised service that includes the assessment, treatment and management of children and adolescents with a range of chronic, complex and life limiting conditions.
  • You will act as a source of expertise, while demonstrating advanced knowledge and experience in the highly skilled management of children with neurological and developmental dysfunction and orthopaedic conditions within the community setting.
  • You will be required to provide specialist advice to other inter-agency professional staff as well as provide clinical education and training to others, which will include more junior therapists, support staff and students.
  • You will take a lead role in the management of cases, more complex and difficult, with a multi-disciplinary team approach acting as an autonomous practitioner

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • HCPC registered.
  • Degree In Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Significant and relevant experience in neurodisability

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
