What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing individualized support to SEN students, helping them grow academically and personally.
  • Collaborating with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and apply creative strategies to meet the specific needs of each child.
  • Building strong relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development in a warm, supportive environment.
  • Assisting in classroom activities and ensuring every child receives the attention and care they deserve.
  • Regularly communicating with parents and carers to provide updates on student progress and celebrate their achievements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is a plus, but we're really looking for someone with patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
  • A flexible and creative approach to supporting students' diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - we value teamwork and collaboration.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is ideal, but not essential, as the school is based in Merton.
