Country Planner

Our client is seeking a Country Planner to manage and maintain their country/market forecast. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President and ensure forecast accuracy, strategic alignment, and timely execution of launch dates. This position requires close collaboration with various teams to meet business objectives and customer needs.

Salary: Up to £40k (dependent upon experience)

  • Location: Milton Keynes
  • Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days from home)
  • Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week) Mon - Fri

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee and monitor country forecasts, ensuring alignment with media plans, HIP programs, and launch dates.
  • Smooth forecasts across seasonal requirements to enhance accuracy.
  • Establish regular communication with supply planning to optimize stock levels and manage inventory.
  • Rebalance inventory to support sales through ongoing collaboration with Supply Planning.
  • Gather insights on market demand drivers, promotional activities, and product lifecycle plans.
  • Use NPD/POS data to recommend replenishment orders, identify ad hoc demand, POS risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure key launch dates are met with stock availability through coordination with EU Demand & Supply teams.
  • Evaluate and enhance country-level planning processes using internal tools and systems.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process optimization.
  • Communicate risks to management, identifying chase risk within lead time and managing demand exceeding forecasts.
  • Review and analyse monthly forecast accuracy, providing explanations for variances.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in forecasting methods.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems.
