Safety & Occupational Health Senior Manager - Strategy & Sustainable Future, Pan EU

Part of the Strategy & Sustainable Future team is to lead the development, deployment and governance of CCEP QESH strategies, programs and business plans to protect and enhance CCEP resources, assets, trademarks and corporate reputation. Within this remit all legal and franchise health & safety, environment, quality and food safety requirements, policies and standards must be met or exceeded.

The Safety & Occupational Health Senior Manager will lead the deployment and governance of the Health&Safety programs & strategies across European Business Units (suppliers & incoming materials, Commercialisation and New Initiatives projects, manufacturing, warehousing & distribution, Cold Drink Operations, Commercial & Sales, Offices, Customer & Consumer Contacts).

You will promote the implementation of strategies, objectives and plans that ensure compliance with the Health&Safety standards required by CCEP.

Key Responsibilities:
You will provide leadership and expertise in order to create value for CCEP by guaranteeing compliance to the occupational health and safety standards and stakeholder requirements, to protect and improve CCEP's resources, assets, trademarks and reputation throughout the European Business Units, by driving sustainable continuous improvements. You will also Support the Group H&S Lead.

  • Report to the Group H&S Lead about Health & Safety performance and trends, challenges, (emerging) risks and opportunities and support in the development of the appropriate action plans to drive achievement of Business Objectives/Targets as well as sustainable Continuous Improvement across the European Business Units.
  • Gives guidance to the European Business Units Occupational Health & Safety functions to deliver their Central CCEP commitments,
  • Lead the implementation and the monitoring of the CCEP Central Health & Safety strategy across the European Business Units
  • Provide assertive Health & Safety guidance to the European Business Units Safety Leaders to ensure focus on the right Business priorities.
  • Drive and coordinate the delivery of TCCC Health & Safety key initiatives across the European Business Units.
  • Coordinate the proactive risk management (from assessment to mitigation) for the European Business Units in the area of Health & Safety.
  • Help to build strategic Health & Safety know-how for the European Business Units in order to ensure readiness to manage new technologies and/or new processes and systems.
  • Coordinate the improvement and standardization of Health & Safety key processes, systems and tools across the European Business Units.
  • Support Group H&S lead in the development of Health & Safety capabilities for the European Business Units via development programs, mentoring and coaching and bringing together expertise from different areas in order to continuously improve and embed desired H&S knowledge, skills and behaviors throughout the Business Unit.
  • Drive and coordinate CCEP Central Health & Safety projects/ campaigns/ initiatives across the European Business Units that are aimed at improving/ driving Health & Safety towards CCEPs objective of maintaining a H&S performance recognised as world class.

Skills & Essentials:

  • Minimum 5 Years of experience in Safety & Occupational Health management role in Multinational company.
  • Language minimum requirement - fluent in English
  • Experience of project management and working through remote reporting lines to deliver results
  • Experience of driving and shaping safety culture
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Strong influencing and engagement skills
  • Travel approx. 25%

Qualifications:
Ideally has a Masters degree (preferably in Science) & Top level Safety qualifications
