Salary: Ranging between £24,000 - £28,000 + Progression + On Site Training - Birmingham - Hall Green
The Role
Are you aspiring to be a CAD Designer, Toolmaker and Engineer that wants to learn and to progress within a very successful, profitable and growing company who is looking for an involved role which will offer you progression in the future?
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established and specialist business which supplies the Automotive, Construction, and general Engineering sectors.
You will be the crucial link between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Sales and will work under the Production Manager to focus on New Tooling, Improving Current Tooling, Maintenance of Tooling, New Tooling Design and Product Quality. You will also be responsible for the creation of bespoke Jigs and Fixtures that may be required.
A typical day would involve the use of the Wire Eroder Machine, AutoCAD, Fusion 360 and processes including Turning, Drilling, Grinding and Fitting.
This role would suit an Engineer looking to join a close-knit team known good quality products.
- New Tool Design, Maintenance and Modification of Existing Tooling
- Bespoke Jigs and Fixtures that may be required
- To assist the Production Manager, Production Supervisors, Maintenance Engineer with any issues that arise with Tooling
