An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join a pioneering team transforming practical skills education and training in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. This role offers the chance to drive the technological vision and development of an innovative platform that utilises photorealistic, immersive, and interactive virtual lab simulators. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the technology strategy and execution, ensuring the successful delivery of our advanced virtual lab simulator.
This is a remote position with occasional travel required for team collaboration and client engagement.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Fractional Chief Technology Officer role brings proven experience in a similar senior technology leadership role. A strong background in AI and implementing LLM's is required.
- Proven experience in a CTO or senior technology leadership role within life sciences, healthcare or ed-tech sectors
- Strong background in AI with experience in immersive technologies preferred.
- Proficiency in software development methodologies and languages such as Python, C++, among others
- Familiarity with digital twin technology and its applications
- Exceptional problem-solving skills coupled with a strategic mindset
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to inspire a remote development team
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across different departments
