Production Manager-Food Manufacturing
Maidenhead, Berkshire
£45-50K plus progression plus 25 days holiday, pension (up to 8%), parking.

Are you an experienced Production Manager from a food manufacturing background look for a exciting, challenging and varied days based role for one of the UK's leading Food Manufacturing Companies, with opportunities for further progression.
It may suit an Operations Manager from a smaller food company looking to work for a larger, international company, or an experienced Production Manager from a large corporate food manufacturer wanting to progress.
This position will focus on second line management of staff (6 team leaders), plus a focus on quality, health and safety and support improvement projects.
It suits someone who is happy being visible on the shop floor, a team player, who understands processes and structures. Someone who is happy to challenge ideas, but can do it in the right mannar and take teams with them when implementing change.
The Role:
- Maintain and uphold standards of health and safety, quality, discipline, food hygiene, communication and employee relations.
- Develop, train and motivate staff, including managing staff timetables to ensure production area runs efficiently.
- Advise, recommend and implement any improvement to work methods which could improve productivity, performance or economy of operation.
The Person:
- Production management experience in a food manufacturing business
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Advanced Food hygiene Qualification
