Office Administrator/Reactive Maintenance Scheduler East Grinstead 12 month FTC FULL TIME – Office based

My client are a family run business, specialising in the windows and door industry alongside a reactive maintenance department serving private customers, large housing associations and commercial clients.

They have an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator / Reactive Maintenance Scheduler to join the team. This will be a 1-year, fixed term contract with a 3-month probation. For the right candidate there will be a view to extend the term.

The role will involve speaking with clients, owners and tenants so you will need to be confident on the telephone and responding to e-mails with good written skills.

Job duties

  • Answering calls in a professional manner and assisting with enquiries.
  • Entering jobs onto the computer system.
  • Contacting customers to schedule jobs.
  • Ordering materials and stationery.
  • Filing, shredding and scanning.
  • Assisting with deliveries.
  • Sending quotes to customers.
  • Raising invoices.
  • Marketing & Social media.
  • Responding to e-mails and general enquiries.
  • Diary management.
  • Day-to-day office tasks.
