Type: 6 months FTC

Salary: Band 5 - £29,970

Fully Remote

Location: Nottinghamshire

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an HR Advisor for our Public Sector client.

The post holder will be the nominated Divisional lead HR advisor for the assigned divisions/directorate and will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive range of employment services within those divisions.

Key responsibilities for the HR Advisor are;

  • To guarantee adherence to the organisation's terms and conditions of service and existing policies and procedures, providing managers with guidance on their interpretation and implementation
  • To deliver a timely and responsive HR service to line managers in areas of Employee Relations, Employee Resourcing and Employee Development ensuring effective relationships are maintained to enable the HR function
  • To advise on absence management and its control ensuring that managers effectively maintain absence at a minimum including redeployment
  • To maintain/utilise relevant HR information systems to aid case management and decision-making processes
  • To support managers in organisational change, advocate the role of change, and provide expert advice in line with policy and practice.

The Ideal candidate for the HR Advisor will have;

  • CIPD Qualified Level 5 or Studying or Equivalent
  • Track record of operating in an HR environment
  • Experience in Absence Management ideal
  • HR Public Sector experience ideal
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations.
