Monday - Thursday 8am-4:30pm / Friday 8am-1pm

Based in Wrexham, an opportunity has arisen to join an established and internationally renowned manufacturing company on a permanent basis. As the Finance Assistant you will be responsible for maintaining the product costing functions as well as providing timely and effective financial reporting to the Finance Department.
Performance Objectives
- Maintaining Product Costing system.
- Preparing monthly sales and production reports.
- Expense analysis.
- Monthly reporting to Head Office.
- Assisting with compiling data and reporting for KPI's.
- Processing and maintaining expenditure approvals.
- Data manipulation and analysis.
- Assisting with company stock taking.
- Compliance with accounting governance and audit requirements.
- Assisting with external audits.
- Working with the wider organisation teams to assist in cost tracking, efficiency gains and cost saving initiatives.
Person Specification
- 5 GCSE A-C including Maths and English.
- AAT Level 2/3.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- 3-5-year experience of working in a fast-paced accounts environment.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
- Highly confidential in nature and a team player.
- Highly numerate and literate.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Highly motivated and proactive.
- Team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work to strict deadlines.
