Manchester City Council is seeking a dedicated Secretary to support the Strategic Director for Adult Social Care. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality, customer-focused business support, directly contributing to the achievement of objectives within our Children's Services and Adult Social Care Directorates.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Complex diary management
- Email management
- Administrative tasks
- Minute-taking highly complex and confidential meetings
- Report preparation
- Administering meetings
- Travel Booking
- Finance etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Keen eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with attention to detail - liasing with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential
- Minute taking experience
