Memberships Recruitment and Partnerships Manager

We are seeking an individual with relevant experience with operational and direct line management. You will also ideally have commercial experiences within recruitment, marketing, or sales, with a strong track record of meeting targets and driving growth.

Our Client is a not for profit and well known innovative organisation in the City of London.

What will you be doing?

As the Senior Membership Recruitment and Partnerships Manager, you will be at the forefront of expanding membership base and driving our fundraising initiatives. You will lead a dedicated team to meet ambitious recruitment targets, identify new opportunities for growth, and forge strategic partnerships with external organisations. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the future of the membership community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Membership Recruitment: Develop and execute strategies to recruit new members, ensuring targets are met on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Partnership Development: Secure and manage partnerships with external organisations, creating opportunities for multiple membership purchases.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the Membership Development Team, managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the team's success.
  • Fundraising: Oversee efforts to secure regular donations, major gifts, and legacies from members, working closely with team members to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve recruitment processes, utilising CRM and marketing tools to enhance the member experience.
  • Strategy and Reporting: Develop and implement strategic plans, track performance metrics, and report on progress to senior management.
  • Any other reasonable related and required duties.

About you:

You will need to have relevant experience within a similar position.

You will also need:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, marketing, or sales, with a strong track record of meeting targets and driving growth.
  • Experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve high performance.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to implement operational plans effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

role is a Permanent position opportunity. The working hours are 35 per week with some hybrid working (3 days in office and 2 days from home). The applicable salary is £40,000pa-£45,000pa (dependent on experience) plus outstanding benefits such as generous pension, 29 days annual leave, coaching and development and more.
