Job Title: Warehouse Manager - Audio Visual

Location: Blackburn- Site Based

Salary: £30-35K + overtime

Working Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm

21 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

The Company:

Due to continual growth our client based in the Audio-VisualIndustry, we are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager with knowledge of the Audio Visual Industry. As an integrator of AV solutions, weare able to offer potential for growth and progression for the right candidate.

Job Purpose Summary:

This role plays a crucial part to the success of our business and our relationships with clients - the Warehouse Manager's contribution to our ongoing success can't be underestimated. Our Warehouse Manager will be responsible for bringing together various elements of our business to deliver the perfect solution to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as an effective member of our team to deliver a wide range of solutions to blue chip companies across the UK.
  • Responsible for Goods inand Goods out of the Warehouse
  • Loading /Unloading of vans and trucks.
  • Stock Control - manage all elements of Stock Control including returns/damages
  • Checking products for defaults iechecking cables, LED and Digital Screens for faults
  • Hands on preparation of equipment for distribution
  • Responsible for liaising with 3rdparty logistics to ensure on time delivery
  • Ensuring workspaces are kept in clean and orderly condition.
  • Maintain clean, clear, and safe loading bays.
  • Complying with company health and safety procedures.
  • Occasional deliveries / collections (Full UK driving license required)
  • Other duties to meet the needs of the business.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Strong IT skills. High self-motivation, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in working within a warehouse within the Audio-Visual Industry
  • FLT Reach Licence desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High standard of presentation
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve and to work to deadlines.
  • High self-motivation.
  • Flexibility and a positive can-do attitude.
