Credit Controller

Sewell Wallis are working with a global company to secure a Credit Controller to join the team in North Derbyshire. This role offers an attractive part time package, perfect for those who need to work around other commitments. You'll need to be an experienced credit controller who can work well in a fast paced environment, who has excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as you will be chasing accounts via email and over the phone.

What will you be doing?

  • Work to minimise overall company debt.
  • Handing all queries and requests, making sure they are promptly resolved.
  • You'll be working on the phone, and emailing, to chase customer payments and minimise bad/aged debt.
  • Maximising cash collections.
  • Escalating relevant accounts when needed in line with company procedures.
  • Work on daily outbound phone targets set by the team leader.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Prior Credit Control experience.
  • Demonstration of excellent communication skills and customer service experience (ideally in a high-volume, target driven environment).
  • Solution focused, someone happy to help with query resolution.
  • Strong IT and Microsoft skills (i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Organised and independent when it comes to managing your workload and hitting required targets.
