Job Title: Accounts Senior
Location: Rotherham
Remuneration: £35,000pa plus 31 days holiday (including bank holiday) free parking, study support, flexi-time and much more
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, VAT returns, tax returns, and management accounts
- Conduct regular and thorough analysis of financial data to identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and clients
- Collaborate with clients and provide expert advice on financial matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in legislation to ensure the provision of accurate and timely financial information
- Work closely with colleagues and contribute to the smooth operation and growth of the team
Skills Required:
- Extensive experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proficient in using accounting software including Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with clients and colleagues
