Are you a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity to provide outstanding support for children with additional needs? This lovely primary school in South Birmingham is currently recruiting for a Classroom Assistant who can greet every child with a smile and foster a love for learning.

As a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant at this school you will be joining a friendly and supportive team of Primary Teachers and TA's who love that they do! The children's needs always come first at this school and creativity is encourage. You will be supporting children on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, providing numeracy and literacy intervention sessions. This role requires a Level 2 or 3 Classroom Assistant or Teaching Assistant qualification.

Job Role:

  • Supporting the class teacher in providing an outstanding education.
  • Acting as a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant in a primary class.
  • Safeguarding children and managing low level disruptions.
  • Making learning fun and interactive.
  • Understanding a range of special educational needs.
