Children's Home Registered Manager

Location: Leeds
Salary: £44,000 - £47,000 + Bonus
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team in Leeds. This is a brand-new 3-bed EBD home with a full staffing team already in place, ready to welcome a passionate leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
  • Lead, manage, and inspire the team to deliver high-quality care and support to the children.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to each child's needs and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, including safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Manage the home's budget and resources effectively.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, staff, and external agencies.
  • Prepare for and participate in Ofsted inspections, striving for the highest standards of care.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior role within a children's residential setting.
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and making a positive impact on children's lives.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare and management (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent).
  • Full driving licence.
