Natural Resource Finance (NRF) is a growing business of the Corporate Bank's Trade Finance & Lending division. The team is a leading arranger of tailored financing products across the global commodity markets value chain for capex, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and working capital.
As a Director of NRF, you will be contributing to the expansion of a diverse team originating and structuring complex transactions globally. You will be a senior member and deal team leader of a dynamic sales hub in London and be instrumental to reinforce NRF market positions in the wide Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA) market, as well as in the Americas.

Your key responsibilities
- Business planning and contributing to strategic growth drivers via definition and implementation in coordination with the Global Head.
- Defining origination strategy with Coverage and other front office teams
- Providing tailored structuring expertise, balancing client needs and the Bank's capabilities and risk appetite
- Client engagement, negotiating deals terms, maintaining senior client relationships, and dialogue on strategy
- Leading deal teams, coaching team members, fostering knowledge transfer and learning
- Deal execution through delivering transactions through internal approvals, syndication/placement support, and documentation
Your skills and experience
- Established banking experience in structured finance roles and commodities. Robust structuring, credit risk analysis and deal leadership skills
- Proven Reserve Based Lending (RBL) markets experience, including United States (US) RBL market.
- Established client relationships
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and planning
- Proficiency in financial modelling
