Proactive Personnel are looking to recruit an Assembly Fitter for our client in Shrewsbury!
As an Assembly Fitter your duties will include:
- Carry out mechanical building, modification and repair of company products to customer exact specifications
- Carry out fault diagnoses on all company products and related components
- Dismantle all types of product and components, clean and prepare to the standard ready for rebuilding
- Replace all relevant parts as appropriate to ensure products are professionally repaired and put back into running order
- Ensure all machine settings are correct and relevant testing is completed before machines are despatched
- Advise management on all aspects of mechanical engineering requirements as appropriate
- Ensuring standards of housekeeping and tidiness are achieved and maintained at all times
The successful Assembly Fitter will require:
- The ability to read and interpret drawings for specific machinery
- 3-5 years' experience with special purpose machinery
- Flexibility within role
- A strong team player
