As Mechanical Design Engineer, you can expect to:

  • Take a general concept and develop it into a finished product
  • Work to schedule time lines for efficient releases
  • Communicate progress on tasks to the direct supervisor
  • Create 3D designs and drawings using SolidWorks
  • Produce working drawings, detail drawings and bills of materials

To apply for this Mechanical Design Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Minimum HNC/Degree or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • SolidWorks experience desirable
  • Experience in Designing Fixtures is desirable
  • Troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
  • Experience working in a similar role within a design department
