As Mechanical Design Engineer, you can expect to:
- Take a general concept and develop it into a finished product
- Work to schedule time lines for efficient releases
- Communicate progress on tasks to the direct supervisor
- Create 3D designs and drawings using SolidWorks
- Produce working drawings, detail drawings and bills of materials
To apply for this Mechanical Design Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Minimum HNC/Degree or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- SolidWorks experience desirable
- Experience in Designing Fixtures is desirable
- Troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
- Experience working in a similar role within a design department
