A position has become available for a Receptionist to join a thriving, full-service law firm located in the heart of Spinningfields, Manchester. This full-time, permanent role offers an exceptional platform for professional growth and development.

Your primary responsibilities will include greeting clients, managing incoming calls with courtesy and efficiency, ensuring meeting rooms are impeccably maintained, and supporting general office administration. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work autonomously will be key to your success in this role.

The position demands a full-time commitment of 35 hours per week, within the operational hours of 8am to 6pm. Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness absences is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality, professional reception service to clients, partners, and employees.
  • Maintain a tidy and professional Reception area.
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors.
  • Answer and redirect incoming telephone calls, taking accurate messages and ensuring timely communication.
  • Assist with meeting room bookings and ensure all requirements, including catering and AV needs, are met.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are promptly cleared and client-ready.
  • Support marketing events preparation held in the office.
  • Assist with general administration tasks, including building access control and ordering catering supplies.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous office and reception experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and able to use initiative.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Polite, calm, and professional demeanour with a positive outlook.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
