We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team in the Property industry. The successful candidate will be instrumental in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. 5 days a week in the office, 2/3 months temp with a perm opportunity.

Description
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Work on budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
- Perform analysis on financial data to aid decision-making
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes
- Manage and reconcile accounts
- Support internal and external audits
- Assist in other accounting tasks as needed
- Speak to suppliers over the phone
- Journals, debits & credits
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting or a relevant field
- AAT Qual
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Handy with technology
