Looking to work for a dynamic, entrepreneurial agency that has it's employees at the heart of the business?

Our client has re-aligned the structure of the team and as a result has created a new role and looking to appoint an HR Manager to focus on Talent Development.

Whats does this mean to you?

This is a business where the Managers have no direct line management responsibility in terms of development of it's team. This key responsibility is carried out by designated People Managers (70 of them!) who are mentors and coaches, aligned to one or two specific employees and are responsible for the development of that employee.

They own the inducting, upskilling and developing of the talent within the business. The HR Manager - Talent Development has overall ownership of the people development plan, building the People Manager capability, supporting business change and reinforcing the agency's people centric culture. You will work as part of an energetic and busy HR team, and with your generalist HR hat on, you should be prepared to fulfil a generalist advisory role on all people matters alongside delivery of the more specialist lead role for driving and delivering the learning and development agenda.

What Background are we looking for?

  • HR Generalist experience and qualified to CIPD level 5 with a passion for Talent Development.
  • Will have previous experience within a fast-paced environment ideally an SME/ Agency/Consultancy environment.
  • Should have excellent coaching and facilitation skills with a passion for performance improvement and maximising potential.
  • Can demonstrate experience of design/delivery of effective learning solutions and training delivery.
  • Will help foster collaboration, constructive dialogue and builds trust and rapport with People Managers and colleagues at all levels across the agency.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and drive for results.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to engage with stakeholders and deliver training and presentations at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage and prioritise workload and attention to detail.
  • The preference is for someone from a similar, SME agency background.
