Are you a hands on engineer with the background in mechanical looking to come off the tools and get into management position to work for a company who offers diagnostic training including a Level 3 NVQ and HNC who will provides progression and the opportunity to really grow in the field?
This leading company has been established for 20 years and has been carrying out designs and installations on commercial and industrial plumbing and heating projects. They also specialise in HVAC systems, and they provide overtime to significantly boost your earnings with a company vehicle, fuel card and a company card. They offer fully funded training to employees, providing ample potential for progression within the company.
In this role you will manage and organize engineers for small works, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Your role includes negotiating, placing orders, and corresponding with specialist sub-contractors while also ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment and will work to deadlines, both independently and as part of a team, attending sites for surveys to gather information for quotations. You will prepare cost estimates considering plant, and materials, and create formal letters and quotations for clients.
This role would suit a plumber or someone with a hands-on mechanical background looking to step up into a role with more responsibility within a leading company who pride themselves on staff retention and the opportunity to increase your earning through premium overtime opportunities.
The Role:
- Negotiate, place orders, and correspond with specialist sub-contractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Work to deadlines, conduct site surveys, prepare cost estimates, and create formal letters and quotations for clients.
- Mon to Fri 8am -5pm (Flexible)

- Mechanical engineer or similar
- Commutable to Taunton
