MEP Manager

Deverellsmith are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well establish residential contractor, for an M&E Manager to join them, initially for a 12 month contract with the possibility of extension.
Responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination and delivery of all MEP systems within the development. Working closely with project teams and subcontractors you will ensure the successful delivery of MEP components, on time and in budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the MEP design and coordination efforts for the project, from construction through to project completion.
- Work with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project plans.
- Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, and drawings for accuracy and compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Manage the procurement of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project budgets.
- Oversee the selection of MEP subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and monitor their performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular inspections MEP installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Implement sustainable and energy-efficient MEP solutions to align with our commitment to environmental responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an MEP Manager in residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
