Overview of a Finance Sales Coordinator

This role supports Finance and Sales in growing Air Conditioning for Climate Solutions. Reporting to the UK Finance Accountant, it includes customer account administration, credit management, sales force administration, tender submissions, and general sales support, aiming to make the client a market leader in the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities of a Finance Sales Coordinator

  • Collect, verify, and maintain accurate customer account documentation, process new account applications, and manage customer master data in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Accountant to optimize accounts receivable (AR) collections, manage the dunning process, supervise the outsourced collection team, and handle bad debt filings.
  • Participate in daily accounting activities, including reconciliations and invoice dispute resolution, and assist in evaluating credit risks and establishing credit limits per company policy.
  • Maintain relationships with external insurers and brokers to secure credit limits, and ensure all customer account forms, contracts, and NDAs are up to date and properly filed.
  • Support the Sales team in tender submissions and administration of Sales Force, preparing relevant and ad-hoc sales reports as directed.

Key competencies of a Finance Sales Coordinator

  • Experience in company administration and finance, including bookkeeping and account management.
  • Knowledge of credit control (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable).
  • Proficient in IT skills, especially Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with a solid business sense.
  • Good project management skills, ability to work well under pressure, and professional demeanor.
