Senior Fullstack Developer - Leeds - £60,000 - £80,000 PA DOE.
I'm representing a well-funded startup in Yorkshire in their search for a Senior Fullstack Developer - could this be the opportunity for you?
The business is focused all around data and advanced data science including AI and Machine Learning working on important energy and climate sensitive projects. Since launching 3 years ago, they've gone from strength to strength. Now, boasting a team of 10 staff, they're looking for an additional Senior Fullstack Developer to join the close-knit team.
Being a start-up the ideal candidate should be able to manage some competing responsibilities simultaneously, and should be a real self-starter, able to get on with the job without much hand holding.
Please note this role is hybrid - 3 days per week in Leeds - please do not apply if this doesn't match your travel expectations.
Day to day:
- You'll be utilising your coding skills to craft rich web applications with Python, Javascript and deploying onto AWS
- You'll be working on serverless applications with NoSQL (experience of cloud architecture would be a real bonus for them)
- Working on projects in tandem with users: meeting and working on requirements, agreeing on next steps and solutions from conception to delivery.
- Working as part of a close-knit team with strong technical foundations.
Key skills:
- Python - FastAPI, Microservices
- Javascript + React / Vue / Angular
- AWS - CI/CD, Terraform, S3, EC2, RDS
Nice to have:
- Secondary discipline knowledge: Data Science, DevOps, UX/UI
