Rapier Employment are working with a long-standing client, who are on the look-out for multiple CSCS labourers to start with them on 12th August 2024 in Wakefield.
As a CSCS Labourer building office furniture, your role will involve assisting with the construction and assembly of office furniture in a professional and efficient manner. You will work as part of a team whilst following instructions from supervisors.
Start Date: 12th August 2024
Pay Rate: £14 p/h
Hours: 07:00 / 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
Duration: 3 Weeks
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with furniture assembly: You will be responsible for helping to assemble office furniture, following instructions, and using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Moving and collecting materials: You will assist in moving and collecting materials needed for furniture construction, ensuring they are properly organised and readily available.
- General building work: Your duties may include general building work, such as cleaning the construction site, loading, and unloading materials, and removing hazards.
- Following safety procedures: It is essential to adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- Valid CSCS card: A valid CSCS card is required for this position. The CSCS card provides proof that you have the appropriate training and qualifications for working on construction sites.
- Previous site experience: Previous experience working on construction sites, particularly in furniture assembly or general labouring, is preferred.
- Physical fitness: This role involves physical labour, so being physically fit and able to lift heavy objects is important.
- Attention to detail: Having good attention to detail is crucial to ensure accurate and precise furniture assembly.
- Teamwork skills: You will be working as part of a team, so strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
