Recycling Team Leader

The Recruitment Co are currently looking for a Recycling Team Leader to join a growing team in Barnsley. This is a hands-on Supervisor role, in which you are managing 2 other operatives on site.
What to Expect:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day recycling operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Supervise and train team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee the sorting, processing, and packaging of recyclable materials in accordance with company and customer specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Report on production metrics and performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

What We Need from You:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a recycling or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A commitment to maintaining health and safety protocols, with experience in enforcing these in a team setting.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management.
  • Knowledge of recycling processes and experience in a production or processing facility would be a plus.
