We are seeking an experienced concrete finisher to join our team on a contract basis for an exciting project in the Wakefield area. This role involves working on a footbridge, where you will be responsible for drilling, preparing, and re-pouring concrete to ensure a high-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform drilling and preparation work on existing concrete surfaces.
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete to specified standards.
- Ensure precise leveling and smoothing of concrete surfaces.
- Apply protective coatings as needed.
- Work in accordance with project specifications and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the site team to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher, particularly in similar infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols.
- Must have a valid CSCS card.
- Abrasive wheels would be preferred.
