CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator
Location: Portsmouth
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm, Friday 7.30am-12.30pm
Annual Salary: £38,000 to £41,500
Contract Type: Permanent
Wild Recruitment are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a well known engineering company based in Portsmouth. You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating mills using Fanuc controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme, Setting, and Operating CNC Machinery using Fanuc controls
- Prove out CNC programs ensuring the highest quality is maintained at all times
- Ensure the machines processes are running efficiently to maximise productivity
- Programme parts using SolidCam
- Maintain highest quality standards including inspecting the manufactured part
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator
- The ability to work with Fanuc Controls and programme parts using SolidCam
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
