Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: £50,000-£65,000
We are recruiting for a Technical Project Manager for an exciting role in Manchester City Centre. As a Technical Project Manager, you will work with world-class organisations across diverse industries such as electronics, finance, medical, and automotive sectors. You will play a key role in managing projects from bid to successful completion, ensuring they meet agreed budgets and client specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Support the sales process by managing the engineering and project delivery input for technical software bids.
- Oversee the delivery of multiple simultaneous customer projects, often highly complex technical software projects.
- Act as a proactive member of account management teams to maintain and increase sales within client accounts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to nurture and manage client relationships effectively.
- Build and manage effective project teams, including engineers on the project.
- Manage overall project scope, cost, and timeline.
- Create and manage technical project plans, risk logs, change requests, and dependency logs.
- Work closely with technical teams and leads.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software project management.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and experience with relevant methodologies.
- Ability to grasp new technical concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Sociable, confident, and capable of dealing with pressure and deadlines.
