Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to inspire and educate our KS3 and KS4 students. This role is perfect for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators who are committed to delivering high-quality education tailored to the needs of SEND students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Develop individualized learning plans to cater to the unique needs of students with ASD and SEMH.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure effective learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Specialization or experience in Food Technology.
  • A genuine passion for working with SEND students, particularly those with ASD and SEMH.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
