As a leading firm of Accountants operating across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics, they are offering an opportunity to join their top ten accountancy firm in their Portsmouth offices as Outsourcing Director. What you'll be doing as Outsourcing Director.
- Team Leadership: Lead a large outsourcing team, from trainees to managers.
- Departmental Success: Manage client relationships, win new business, and develop the team.
- Client Interaction: Understand client business needs and provide tailored services for compliance and advisory aspects.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a personal portfolio of clients.
- Administrative Support: Assist managers with departmental administration.
- Quality Advice: Ensure the delivery of high-quality advice.
- Business Development: Identify and develop opportunities for the Group, collaborating with other departments.
- People Management: Manage and direct team members in line with the people strategy and overall Group strategy.
- Strategic Representation: Represent the business area in Group-wide meetings.
- Training & Improvement: Oversee the training cycle for the client area and promote continuous improvement within the team and Group.
- Performance Monitoring: Manage chargeable time budgets and monitor team utilization to meet targets.
- Outsourcing Services: Provide high-level advisory support on an outsourced financial director basis.
Qualifications and experience required
- Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Senior-level experience managing a large client portfolio and leading a team.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, confident communication abilities, decision-making, problem-solving, and proactive business opportunity seeking.
