We're looking for a qualified External Assessor to support apprentices across South Yorkshire, Derby, and Nottingham - with some remote assessment for learners based further afield (e.g. London). You'll join a supportive team that trusts you to manage your caseload and values your professional expertise.
**The Role at a Glance
- Manage a caseload of 40-45 apprentices
- Visit apprentices and employers on-site
- Set up and support NVQ Level 3 portfolios
- Prepare learners for the AM2 end-point assessment
- Use OneFile to monitor and track learner progress
- Deliver high-quality, workplace-based assessment and support
**Do You Fit the Bill?
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- Assessor qualification (e.g. TAQA, A1, D32/33)
- Strong hands-on electrical background
- Confident with IT systems (especially OneFile or similar)
- Full UK driving licence & own car
Desirable Qualifications:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
