Our client due to expansion is looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager on a fulltime permanent basis to cover Scotland but to be based in central Scotland. Job role of Area Sales Manager:-
- Delivering sales numbers to reach expected sales revenue (mix of new and old business development).
- Listening and responding to customer requirements, seeking solutions and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
- Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
- Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries internally and externally.
- Acting as the contact between the company and its existing and potential markets for future sales development.
- Attend trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on buying trends and needs of retailers at the local level.
- Identify new sectors and business opportunities.
- Review your own sales performance and seek feedback from your line manager.
- Attend and contribute to regular sales team meetings
To be considered for this exciting role ideally you will have sold into the retail or convince sector or if you have a proven track record in sales.
What is on offer for you is the chance to earn circa £60k OTE although uncapped, A company car typically an estate car, the company offer £1.5k additional salary to help negate the tax implication of a car. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus enhanced benefits. The working hours are 9 to 5pm (35 hours a week) however you manage you time accordingly to earn money.
