Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join a Professional Services company in Central Bristol. As Management Accountant, you will take responsibility for almost all of the Financial Transactions and Financial Reporting for one entity within the Group. For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive:
Up to £45,000 plus bonus
Role responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, end-to-end for one company within the Group including: posting journals, accruals, prepayments, payroll
- Provide variance analysis
- Assist in production of budgets and forecasts
- Maintain and update cashflows daily
- Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts for two other entities within the Group
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Processing invoices, staff expenses and payroll
- Assist with process improvement as necessary, taking a proactive approach and taking initiative to make suggestions/ recommendations
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
Person specification:
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA working towards completion of qualification
- High attention to detail and thorough approach/accurate in production of work
- Working knowledge of the month end process and producing monthly management accounts
- Excellent communication skills
- Process driven
- Experience working in a Group structure preferred but not essential
- Excellent IT skills
