We are searching for a prospective Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join a team in Haringey on a full time, temporary basis. The ASB Officer will manage a caseload of complex ASB cases, working closely with multiple agencies to resolve issues. The role involves managing ASB cases, investigating complaints, maintaining appropriate records, and overall providing excellent customer service in all areas.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience with ASB - 2 years minimum
- Knowledge of housing, civil, and criminal law, including the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime, and Policing Act 2014
- Proven experience managing high-level ASB cases requiring multi-agency approaches.
- Ability to undertake comprehensive investigations and resolve complaints.
- Experience progressing cases through civil and criminal courts.
- Excellent partnership skills for liaising with the Police and other services
- Strong IT and analytical skills.
The Role
Key responsibility: Manage a caseload of complex ASB cases, working closely with multiple agencies to resolve issues.
- Identify, investigate, and deal with breaches of legislation.
- Work outside of normal office hours to investigate ASB breaches.
- Lead on serious ASB investigations, coordinating a multi-agency response.
- Build relationships with local enforcement partners and statutory organizations.
- Ensure safeguarding issues are addressed as part of a multi-agency approach.
- Prepare and enforce legal notices under relevant legislation.
- Follow up on informal and formal actions, ensuring progress is tracked.
