Removals Sales Surveyor

We are delighted to be working with a multi-award-winning relocation and storage company based in NW London. They carry out over 1000 London domestic and commercial moves a year, from 1 bed flats to mansions. This also extends to complex business relocations and business storage services school removals and office removals and shipping.

They are now seeking a sales Surveyor to join their expanding and friendly team. You will be an integral part of the team, exceeding set targets by surveying as many prospective clients as possible.

You will need to be able to successfully communicate our clients' ability to meet customers' requirements, building confidence in their products, developing lasting relationships whilst sensitively identifying new opportunities.

You will manage everything from site, video, and email surveys, discuss and positioning the service, to following up and closing the sale.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to build relationships and deliver excellent customer service to our clients and stakeholders, and act as an ambassador for the company.

Experience within a similar role within the Removals industry is essential.

This is a full-time, office-based position, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out site surveys 80% (videos surveys 20% when required) for domestic, commercial, and overseas moving - (Domestic removals 85%/Commercial/Overseas 15%).
  • Conducting up to 6 surveys per day (30 per week).
  • Upselling Services wherever possible.
  • Provide detailed survey notes and liaise with the Move Manager to ensure the quotation reflects the clients' requirements utilising company survey software.
  • Manage Follow up process and record detailed updates within the database.
  • Follow up, negotiate, and close the sale with Move Manager support.
  • Work in line with company policies and H&S guidelines.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Producing accurate survey reports.
  • Attendance at Sales Meetings.
  • Communicating leads of interest.
  • Building relationships and assisting with the marketing of the business.
  • Working in line with Company H & S policies and company process.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to engage with an array of clients.
  • Excellent organisational and attention to detail with knowledge of surveying/estimating domestic and commercial removals.
  • A track record of high achievement in a target driven environment.
  • Well presented, well-spoken; must be a great Ambassador for the company.
  • Flexibility, to respond to changing business needs.
  • Willingness to engage, learn and share best practices across the team and organization.
  • In-depth understanding of confidentiality with a professional approach in the workplace.
  • Good time management, administration, and number skills.
