MLOps Engineer (Python)

- Salary: £500 - £600 per day
We are looking for a skilled MLOps Engineer to consolidate and productionise our clients machine learning platform, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of their research team. This role is crucial for translating business needs into high-value IT solutions and streamlining the machine learning workflow. Experienced Python developer with Sageworks would suit this role perfectly.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to translate business needs into high-value IT solutions.
- Work towards achieving scientific deliverables and milestones with agreed quality and timescales, identifying and mitigating risks as they emerge.
- Maintain clear communication with the line manager, project team members, and other stakeholders regarding workloads, issues, progress, and developments.
- Demonstrate best practices and behaviours to foster a positive, productive, and inclusive working environment.
- Communicate analytical products to stakeholders effectively.
- Seek input and feedback from internal stakeholders to prioritise workload.
- Contribute to the general duties of the company and share skills and knowledge with team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in developing AI/ML pipelines using AWS SageMaker infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of programming in Python.
- Knowledge of statistics and machine learning with experience in Pandas, Numpy, SciPy, and Scikit-learn, as well as one of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Knowledge of current software development methodologies such as Scrum/Agile, Containerisation, CI/CD, and Concurrent Version Systems (e.g., Git).
