A market leading and innovative manufacturer in Oxford is now looking to appoint a Quality Engineer as a part of their continued recruitment strategy. With a proven track record of dominance in their sector and providing goods in the high-end-luxury sector, this business will provide you with a steep learning curve in the first 6 months with a continued growth / development plan to achieve your medium > long-term goals.

Your new role
As the Quality Engineer, you'll be reporting in to the Quality Manager and a dotted reporting line into the Production Management team. You will be joining an established Quality function where the company understands the true value of quality, due to their high-end products and customers demanding the very best. You will be expected to identify non-conformities, document them and support the business in developing a robust QMS to reduce rejections. Within the Quality Engineer role, you'll also be expected to support the Goods-in-function, ensuring that raw materials meet the required specifications. Once you are settled in to your role, you'll also support with continuous improvement activities to reduce waste, drive efficiency and introduce new product ranges.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Quality Engineer vacancy, you must have worked in a Quality focused position within the manufacturing sector; it would be highly beneficial to have gained experience within the Aerospace, Automotive or a similar robotics-led manufacturing industry. You will hold an ONC, HND or an equivalent engineering focused qualification. You must be able to read engineering drawings and have an understanding of SAP would support your application.

What you'll get in return
As the Quality Engineer, you'll be paid an annual salary of up to £43,000. In addition to this generous salary, as the Quality Engineer, you'll receive 25 days annual leave (+8 BH), a pension scheme of 4% matched and an annual bonus.
