Are you passionate about supporting young learners? We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Tamworth. This full-time position is available to start immediately and will continue until July 2025. The school is well-known for its nurturing environment and commitment to providing an exceptional education for all students.

The Role:

As a General Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Assist with classroom and behaviour management strategies.
  • Provide targeted academic support to individual students or small groups.
  • Help prepare materials and resources for lessons.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, contributing to the overall development and well-being of the school community.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • A valid DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Salary: Dependent on experience, training, and qualifications.
